About:
GRS is pleased to announce a two-day OpenFOAM training course with focus on FSI simulations with Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian interface tracking method. The course will include the setting-up and the analysis of a simplified FSI test case with the CFD program OpenFOAM and the structural mechanics code CalculiX.
Both programs will be coupled through the PreCICE interface to allow a bi-directional data exchange. Further, a simplified and fast-running analysis of the AMOVI experiment will be carried out using OpenFOAM with the Rigid Body Approach. The course will also teach how to post-process and analyse the generated results.
